Dr Rich is interested in the development of microorganisms for various biotechnological applications. She is an experienced microbiologist, with expertise in synthetic biology and protein engineering. Her current research project uses synthetic and systems biology to develop a microbial strain that can produce value added products from dairy waste streams.
